Streaky Bay

The first morning in Streaky Bay we went to the jetty. When we were fishing on the jetty mum brought in a big burley head. I caught two little fish that we threw back. After fishing we went to The Drift for breakfast. For breakfast I had a waffle and a chocolate milkshake. After breakfast we went to the op shops in the main street.

The next day we went to the breakwater to do some more fishing. At the breakwater I caught a salmon, Isaac caught two squid, Dad caught a snook and Mum caught 3 little fish the we threw back. For lunch we had Isaac’s squid, Dad’s snook and my salmon. It was all amazing except for the salmon which was very plain

The next afternoon we hired peddle bikes to drive around the caravan park. Me and Isaac got some helmets from reception too. It was hard peddling around the caravan park but it was fun. When I had a go I got stuck on a speed hump and Isaac had to help me.

On Christmas morning we got up to find our sacks full. I got lots and lots of presents. My favourite presents were my speaker and sing (my video game). Before lunch we played with Isaac’s kite and vortex. I am terrible at throwing a vortex I discovered. It was fun flying the kite on the beach. For lunch we had a lamb roast. I tried the lamb with gravy and it was delicious. I liked Christmas away but I rather it at home.
