Esperance

The first we were at Esperance we did the Great Ocean Drive. We went snorkelling at Blue Haven. The boys went in more times than me. When dad took his spear out, he speared a flathead. Dad said 100% of the time he has speared a fish. I said that’s because you have only been out once. We also went to Rotary Lookout where we could see the whole of the coastline. The water was turquoise and the sand was like glitter. We also went to a beach to have our picnic lunch.

The next day we went to Eleven Mile beach. When we were there the boys went fishing and me and mum built a sandcastle city. The boys caught five herring whilst fishing from the rocks. In the sandcastle city there was a fish and chip shops with a crab on it that mum collected. We put our stuff in a sheltered bit because it was very windy.

We went into Cape Le Grand National Park for a day. First we climbed up Frenchman’s Peak. It was hard climbing in the heat but we managed it. It was really steep so we had to choose where we stood carefully. It was worth the climb up. The view was amazing. You could see all the beaches and mountains around. There was a cave at the top of Frenchman’s Peak that was like a big picture frame. Next we went to Little Hellfire. It was beautiful and the sand was very soft. We also had a little swim in the water. We then went to Hellfire. It wasn’t as nice as Little Hellfire but it was still nice. The last beach we went to was Lucky Bay. At Lucky Bay the boys went fishing on the rocks whilst me and mum danced. Lucky Bay was a very seaweedy place. My favourite bit was easily Little Hellfire. That night we went to Lucky Bay Brewery. We all had pizzas for dinner. My cheese pizza was delicious.

On the last day we went to the ice creamery. I had a rainbow ice cream and it was the best I have had in ages. I loved my ice cream a lot. Next we went to the park. Me and Isaac went on the flying fox lots of times. I liked it.
