We went to the first ever Kite Festival in Darwin. We saw big kites in the shape of animals and monsters. The sky was filled with big beautiful kites. My favourite was the pink purple and blue small kite in the shape of a flower. There was a humungous crocodile kite that they tried to get up in the air but they couldn’t because it wasn’t windy enough so they had to wait. After we set up the chairs Me, Isaac and Mum went to make a kite. We could colour them in so we did. There was a little kite shelter where we did some tricks with sticks, and played with the hoola hoops. We got some chocolate sundays with sprinkles. I loved seeing all the big kites.
