When we got to Darwin we went to a market called Mindil market. It was super busy. We looked at the stalls for a hour and then Mum and Dad decided that we would have dinner there. Isaac and me had chips and calermarrey rings. They were good and the chips were salty.

When we went shopping we went to an art gallery where we saw an Aboriginal lady called Sonda. She called us over to paint with her. She said not many kids got to paint with her because she doesn’t ask them unless they’re really good kids. We painted random stuff and water holes. Me and Isaac felt super lucky. We got to take our paintings home then I felt very very lucky.

In Darwin we went to some amazing swimming places like the water park. At the water park I first thought I’m not going on those slides, but then I went down all 3. The first one I went down was the green one. In there we saw rainbow lines glowing. I went down it with Dad in a double donut because we could not go down it without some one.
We also went to the Wave pool where the waves go every 30minutes. We also had a donut for that too. During the week we went to all of the pools in Lee Point caravan park.

We visited the Museum of NT. It had the biggest crocodile in Australia. Its name was Sweetheart. There was some artwork and also some animals. It was an interesting place but the skeletons were a bit creepy.
We went to the war museum. I wasn’t very interested but Isaac was because he read the Bombing of Darwin. There we saw machines and uniforms. We watched a little movie about Japan bombing Darwin a long time ago. It was really loud and a bit scary with all the bombs and fire.
