On Friday we drove to Kings Canyon. When we got there we set up the aniix and the two stretches.
The next day we walked Kings creek. On the walk we saw rocks that kind of looked like pancakes and a little spinifex pigeon that scared me at first because I had never seen it before. The thing that surrounded us was Kings Canyon.

The next walk was called Kathleen Springs. It was a nice walk because it had heaps of wild flowers. The wild flowers were so pretty because the month before it rained so much that all the flowers grew. The flowers had yellow pollen and white petals. It was not just white ones but purple and yellow too. At the end of the walk there was a waterhole that we had some photos at.

On Sunday morning we got up at 5:40am to walk around Kings Canyon. The walk was called the Rim Walk. At the start of the walk we climbed up some rock stairs in the dark but we had our head torches. At the top we watched the sunrise. It was super pretty but we couldn’t see the sun. It was a very technical walk because it was rocky and you had to look out for signs. I was feeling a bit scared when we were high up because it was so windy, I felt like I was going to be blown away.

On Monday we stayed at the camp trailer all day.
In the morning we got up and walked to the light towers. When we were there we got to be on Sunrise(T.V). Grandma, grandpa, nan and pop saw us too. It was so cool.

After, we had breakfast and got on the road. We were going to Ormiston gorge.
