On Sunday morning we packed up the camp trailer and got in the car. It was so exciting, we were going to the heart of Australia Uluṟu.
The first day we were there we went to see the Bush Yarns activity. We learned about all the different types of Aboriginal weapons and tools and how they were made. Some were made out of mulga wood and kiti. Kiti is kangaroo poo that they heat up and use like glue. Then we went to see people play the didgeridoo. Daddy and Isaac had a go because in the olden days girls weren’t allowed to play. To play the didgeridoo you vibrate your lips while saying didgeridoo into the instrument.
We also went to the bush tucker activity and we saw a man who showed us what food the Aboriginal people would eat.
The next day we walked around the big rock called Uluṟu. The walk was just over 10kms. It felt really long.

The next day we walked around Kata Juta. It was shorter than the the first day because it was only 7km. After daddy bought us ice cream “yummy “

That night we went to see the sunset over Uluṟu. It was beautiful.

On Thursday we just did some schoolwork.I really liked doing schoolwork because I miss being at school.
Next we are going to Kings Canyon.
