The day we got to Smoky Bay we went fishing on the jetty. It was super duper windy and it felt like I was going to blow away. We only caught a couple of fish but Isaac caught a big silver trevalley.
The next day we went onto the breakwater to do more fishing. We went to the breakwater because the jetty was too windy. We caught some trumpeters, zebra fish, trevalley, wrasse and snook. Whilst we were filleting dad’s snook I watched some people fillet squid. I said to daddy that I want to go squidding so when he got bait from the kiosk, he came back with a squid jig.
Smoky Bay was very windy but there was lots of fishing.
